Your agreement with us

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and the operator of TarotAI (“TarotAI,” “we,” “us”) when you access or use the service. They include our Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and purchases

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, use AI consultations, or buy a paid plan, and you must have legal capacity to enter a contract where you live.

What TarotAI provides

TarotAI offers tarot readings, card meanings, symbolic interpretations, reflective prompts, account-based AI consultations, free features, credit-based plans, and an annual unlimited plan. You may view consultation history and delete an individual consultation or delete all consultation history. Features may require an account and may differ by plan.

TarotAI does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, investment, relationship, employment, or other professional advice. Do not rely on a reading for urgent, high-stakes, or safety-critical decisions.

TarotAI is not a real-time crisis service, cannot monitor you, and cannot automatically alert emergency services or other people. If anyone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services, an appropriate crisis resource, and someone you trust.

Accounts and personal use

You are responsible for your account, sign-in methods, and activity performed through it. Keep access secure and provide accurate information. Plans, credits, and reading allowances are personal, non-transferable, and may not be shared, resold, or used to operate a service for others.

Do not enter passwords, payment details, health records, confidential information, or another person’s private information into a reading prompt.

Plans, prices, and taxes

Basic costs US$7.99 per month and includes 1,500 subscription credits per billing cycle. Pro costs US$12.99 per month and includes 5,000 subscription credits per billing cycle. Annual Unlimited costs US$99.99 per year, is paid upfront, and covers standard tarot readings subject to fair use.

A new Basic or Pro subscription includes one 3-day free trial, once per account. A payment method is required before the trial starts. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the monthly price is charged automatically. During the free trial, the number of readings per day is subject to a reasonable limit.

US dollars are the base prices for paid plans and exclude applicable taxes. Stripe Managed Payments may present a supported local currency and calculates and adds applicable indirect tax at checkout based on the transaction and customer location. The currency, tax, and total confirmed on the Stripe or Link checkout page are the amounts due.

Stripe payments and order confirmation

Stripe hosts our checkout and customer billing portal. For transactions identified as “Sold through Link,” Stripe provides Managed Payments through its affiliate Sold through Link, LLC, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment processing, applicable indirect-tax compliance, fraud and dispute management, and transaction-level payment support. TarotAI remains the product provider and is responsible for delivery, product quality, and product support.

Payment information is submitted directly to Stripe and is also subject to the Stripe Consumer Terms, Stripe Privacy Policy, and Link Privacy Policy. TarotAI does not receive or store your full card number or CVC.

A checkout submission is not an accepted order until payment is confirmed and the purchase is recorded for the signed-in TarotAI account. Contact support@tarotai.ai promptly if a payment is completed but the purchased access is not available.

Automatic renewal, cancellation, and failed payment

Basic and Pro renew monthly. Annual Unlimited renews yearly. Each plan renews automatically at the then-disclosed price until you cancel. You authorize Stripe to charge the saved payment method for each renewal and any applicable tax.

You may cancel before the next renewal through the Stripe customer billing portal provided by TarotAI or through a subscription-management link available in your receipt or Link account. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; access continues through that period unless a refund, dispute, abuse response, or legal requirement requires otherwise. If you delete your TarotAI account, we first ask Stripe to stop future renewal; deletion proceeds only after that request succeeds, and access ends when the account is deleted.

You may cancel a Basic or Pro trial at any time before it ends, from the billing page or the Stripe customer billing portal. Cancelling during the trial stops the charge. Cancelling a Basic or Pro trial, or cancelling after that paid plan has started, clears remaining plan credits. Annual Unlimited has no trial. Cancelling it stops the next renewal, and access continues through the period already paid for.

If Stripe reports a failed or unpaid renewal, it may retry the charge and we may immediately pause membership-only benefits, unlimited access, and new recurring-credit grants while payment remains unresolved. Credits already granted to the account and not expired remain usable under their existing rules. Paid membership benefits resume after successful payment is confirmed.

Credits

Each eligible new account receives one 50-credit welcome grant after verified sign-in; it expires 90 days after grant. During a Basic or Pro trial, the account receives that plan’s subscription credits, the same amounts as the paid tier: 1,500 for Basic and 5,000 for Pro. Cancelling the trial or the paid plan clears remaining plan credits. On the first signed-in visit of each account day, Free accounts receive 10 daily credits, active Basic accounts receive 30 daily credits, and active Pro accounts receive 45 daily credits. Each daily grant expires 24 hours after issue. Annual Unlimited already includes unlimited standard readings and does not receive a daily credit grant.

Basic and Pro subscription credits refresh at the start of each monthly billing cycle, and unused subscription credits do not roll over. Support compensation credits expire 90 days after grant. Separate credit packs and promotional credit campaigns are not currently offered; if introduced, their price, eligibility, and validity will be disclosed before purchase or claim.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and are consumed by earliest expiry first. A refund, chargeback, payment reversal, or fraudulent purchase may result in revocation of related credits or access, subject to applicable law.

Annual Unlimited fair use

Annual Unlimited has no hidden fixed reading allowance. It covers one person’s normal, manual use of standard tarot spreads. It does not include account sharing, resale, automation, bulk calls, scraping, service interference, or higher-cost standalone products such as a full astrology report unless expressly stated.

When activity reasonably appears abusive or threatens service availability, we may use proportionate temporary limits while we investigate. Except for urgent security or legal situations, we will aim to explain a material restriction and provide a way to contact us.

Refunds, errors, and disputes

Refund requests are reviewed individually under our Refund Policy. You may contact TarotAI for product or access issues and may also use the transaction-support channel made available by Stripe or Link. Sold through Link purchases are also subject to the Managed Payments refund policy; Sold through Link, LLC may issue a refund within 60 days of purchase under that policy. If our policy is more restrictive, the Managed Payments policy controls to the extent of the conflict.

Verified duplicate charges, a charge caused by our error after a timely cancellation, or a material unresolved technical failure that prevents use of the paid service may qualify for a refund or billing correction.

Completed or partially used digital billing periods are generally not refundable or prorated merely because of low use, forgetting to cancel, a change of mind, or subjective dissatisfaction. Mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, chargeback, and other consumer rights remain unaffected. If a refund or dispute reverses payment, associated paid access or unused credits may be removed to the extent permitted by law.

Suspension, termination, and account deletion

We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, illegal activity, material breach, account sharing, security risk, or harmful interference. Where appropriate, we will use proportionate measures and provide notice or an opportunity to contact us.

Account deletion attempts to stop future subscription renewal before removing the account. Deletion immediately removes access to readings, credits, and paid benefits, including any remaining prepaid period, so using the billing portal to cancel and waiting until the end of the paid period may be preferable. Records that must be retained for payment, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may use TarotAI only lawfully and for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we give written permission. You must not interfere with security or availability; scrape or extract substantial content; reverse engineer except where law permits; impersonate others; commit fraud or harassment; or exploit our artwork, writing, brand, or software without authorization.

Our Content Safety Policy provides additional rules for prompts, generated content, crisis situations, and account enforcement.

Intellectual property and your content

TarotAI and its licensors retain rights in the service, including artwork, interpretations, text, design, trademarks, and software. We grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for intended personal use.

You retain rights you have in text you enter. When you deliberately save or share a reading, you instruct us to store and process it for that feature until you delete or revoke it, subject to backup and legal retention described in the Privacy Policy.

When you use an AI consultation, you ask us and a configured AI inference provider to process the question, cards, necessary conversation history, and internal translation described in the Privacy Policy. Feedback you submit may be used to evaluate and improve answer quality.

Service, plan, and price changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. A price increase applies only to a future billing period after reasonable notice where required; it does not retroactively change a period already paid for. If we materially reduce or permanently discontinue a paid service during a prepaid period, we will provide any remedy required by applicable law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TarotAI is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TarotAI and those who help operate it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss arising from reliance on a reading or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Changes, informal resolution, and contact

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory protections that apply to you.

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Questions, cancellation or refund requests, and notices may be sent to support@tarotai.ai.
